Objective

You act according to the values and principles of nursing with respect for human dignity.
You meet and maintain nursing interplay with a mental health and intoxicant abuse patient and his/her relatives
You support the empowerment, participation and responsibility of the patient as an expert for the own heath and well-being
You plan, implement and record the treatment of the client / patient
You are familiar with the service structure used in mental health and intoxicant abuse treatment and are able to guide the client / patient to use appropriate services in health care and social work
You are familiar with the most common classes of substances and active substances as well as their adverse reactions and side effects
You have good co-operation skills and are able to profit from the multiprofessional expertise
You are able to evaluate your own actions

Content

Clinical practice in an unit for mental health and intoxicant abuse patients.
Learning assignments.
Develop a treatment plan for an own client/patient in co-operation with a team
Writing of a learning diary
Learning assignment concerning legislation and organisations
Planning implementation and evaluation of a project in the field of mental health and intoxicant abuse work in connection with health and/or mental health promotion in co-operation and partner institutions in a place oftheir cchoice.
AVEKKI training before clinical practice
Reflecton after the clinical practice
