Objective

- You can support and promote active and healthy ageing through the means of care and rehabilitation
- You are able to cater for the individual needs of older people and support them through resource-based approach
- You are able to apply key methods in the nursing and rehabilitation care of older people as well as rehabilitative practices.
- You know how to implement safe care in accordance with the nursing and rehabilitation process when working among older people
- You know how to use evidence-based knowledge in your activities

- Aseptic techniques
- Ergonomic practices and rehabilitative approach
- Patient transfers and assistive equipment
- Posture management and prevention of pressure ulcers
- Active and passive movement therapy, kinesiotherapy
- Nursing interventions and key nursing procedures
- Resource-based support of older people in their individual basic needs and in the activities of daily living
- Documentation and oral reporting
- Evidence-based practices
