The aim is to study the specialized English vocabulary in these areas:
Means of minimizing negative cultural, environmental and social impacts
Concepts of sustainability and responsibility in tourism
Carbon footprint & carbon handprint in tourism industry
UN Sustainable development goals
Ethical tourism
The course also includes studying academic writing and its special features. The students write an academic essay related to one of the themes on the course.
