The course in another Finnish or foreign university with the similar content and extent can compensatet this Karelia course. The student who is doing part of her/ his studies or internship abroad can accomplish the course by compiling a report that discusses her/his personal cross-cultural experiences and reflects them using the knowledge base and conceptual framework of this course. The student must contact the teacher in charge before departure to receive more detailed reporting instructions. The report should be returned within one month from the end of the exchange or training period.
