You know and are able to use different research- and development methods for your thesis. You are able to plan, implement and report a research- or development project and use quantitative and qualitative methods in data acquisition and analysis.

A non-stop online course that the student can complete during its implementation period under the following conditions: The course must be completed before the start of the thesis or at the latest simultaneously with the thesis planning phase. Participation in the course requires that the student has a topic for her/his thesis. Instructions for participating in the course can be found in the IB Thesis Moodle (no key required).
