Objective
This course gives guidance on organising, preparing, launching and implementing trade fairs. The course provides the step-by-step guidelines to be followed starting from the conception of the project, through the planning, organisation and implementation of the event, up to its evaluation. The course gives specific examples related to trade fairs, discusses the development of the promotional and communication strategy.

Teaching methods

Content scheduling
During this course students develop a fair/ exhibition/ show strategy for a fictive/ real company or a product. The work is implemented in a team of max 5 students, resulting in a report of at least 15 pages (max. 25 pages) and a PowerPoint presentation for 20 minutes.
Option for company visits, presentations by industry representatives.
