Objective

You are able to take into account in international trade: 1) the legislative treaties and laws which set frames for transactions in international business 2) business legislation, especially Competition laws in European Union. You are able: 1) to plan, organise and control import/export operations, such as transportation, inventory maintenance, order processing, purchasing, warehousing, material handling, customer service and product standard.

- Supply-chain management
- Different modes of transportation in import/export
- Shipping terms
- Cargo insurance
- Export and import transportation documents
- Customs clearance
- Banking and financial arrangements

Location and time

Lessons will be both online and contact lessons.

Teaching methods

The course is divided into two parts: the first part is is concentrating in supply chain management and international logistics activities. The second part is dealing with the legal grounds and documentations of international trade.

Student workload is 135 h in total, 5 cr.
