    Learning objectives
    The course introduces the strategies, techniques and competences for internationalisation of companies. The course introduces the operating models and competitive tools used by internationalising and internationally active companies. The skills needed for internationalisation will be identified and assessed. You learn to analyse the opportunities and risks of international markets. You learn about ethical and responsible business practices in international trade. Practise using basic tools for international logistics and freight forwarding, such as Incoterms 2020.

    Teaching methods and instruction

    The International Business course introduces you to the strategies, techniques and competences for internationalisation of companies. Degree Competencies: Business and project competences, marketing and sales competences, legal competences, ethical competences, internationalisation competences. Competency objectives: The student understands the importance of internationalisation as a success factor for a company. The student will be able to identify export markets, in particular from the perspective of an SME. The student will be able to launch export activities, especially to the neighbouring regions (Nordic countries, Europe) and to distant markets (America and Asia).
