Objective

After successfully completing the course, you understand cultural dimensions that are involved in human interaction in international business contexts. You are aware of your own cultural identity, communication style, behaviour and underlying values, as well as those in your team. You are able to accommodate social and cultural diversity in multicultural teamwork.

The student who has completed equivalent extent of university studies in intercultural or cross-cultural communication can apply for RPL.

Student workload

18 hours of lectures and workshops, 2 hours for assessment, 20 hours for writing the learning diary and 14 hours of self-study and group tasks

Assessment methods and criteria

The student participates actively in workshops and contributes to group assignments.
The learning diary discusses the course content and topics and includes the student's own ideas and reflection.
The student demonstrate sufficient knowledge and understanding on the different factors involved in intercultural and interpersonal encounters in a Moodle test.
