Objective

You understand different types of discussions. You are able to understand spoken language and different dialects. You can use phrases of spoken language. You are able to participate in different types of discussions in Finnish.

Content

- You participate in discussions on various topics, e.g. food trends and traditional dishes, distance work, and plans for the holiday.
- You get familiar with the materials and vocabulary given and study Finnish phrases.
- You do exercises and write short texts based on the topics of the discussions.

Online meetings in Collaborate or Teams.

Contents

The course includes online meetings and self-study.

Familiarise the materials and vocabulary before the meeting. Participate in all discussions. After each discussion, write a short text on the topic or do the given exercises.

Student workload

Online meetings 20 h + independent studying and the assignments 34 h.

Passed: You have familiarised the materials and vocabulary before the meeting. You participate in discussions. After each discussion, you write a short text or do exercises on the topic.
