On completion of the course • you are able to identify basic concepts and phenomena relating to 'culture' and intercultural communication • you are able to apply theories of intercultural communication into their own professional context • you are able to pay attention to and critically analyse their own communication skills in working life • you are able to analyse the role of intercultural communication competence as a professional skill in different work settings. Core content: Culture, cultural diversity, cultural awareness, intercultural communication, communication competence in working life. The course is organised by University of Eastern Finland.
