After completing the study unit you know how to collect statistical data using different types of sampling methods. You can classify statistical data. You know statistical descriptives. You can read relationship between variables. You can determine confidence interval. You can statistical tests.

The student is not able to use key/individual concepts of statistical mathematics.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

Students will be able to use key/individual concepts of statistical mathematics and demonstrate a basic knowledge of the domain.
The student is able to act appropriately when solving simple problems in statistical mathematics, although the action may be fumbling. The student will be able to follow instructions and solve basic problems in statistical mathematics.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student can use statistical concepts consistently and demonstrate mastery of basic knowledge of the domain.
Students can select appropriate ways to model simple problems in statistical mathematics. Students can solve basic problems in statistical mathematics and can assess their own competence. The student can apply his/her knowledge in basic tasks.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

Students can use statistical terms and concepts in a competent way and integrate them in a coherent way.
They can model and solve simple problems in statistical mathematics and assess the validity of the solutions. Students can apply their knowledge of statistical mathematics in a variety of tasks and situations.
