    Learning objectives
    The course aim provides student with the competencies needed in order to carry out small graphic design works independently and the understanding of the graphic design work basic stages. During the course, students master basic composition skills and develop their own visual expression skills. In addition, the student becomes acquainted with the typographic design of the text and understands the typography's potential as a means of expression. The course includes small publications and composition exercises for individual and/or teamwork.

    Opiskelija hahmottaa suunnittelun työprosessin perusvaiheet ja pystyy toteuttamaan itsenäisesti pieniä suunnittelutöitä. Opiskelija hallitsee sommittelun perustaidot ja kehittää omaa visuaalista ilmaisutaitoaan. Sen lisäksi, opiskelija perehtyy tekstin typografiseen muotoiluun, tutustuu typografisiin ilmaisukeinoihin ja ymmärtää typografian mahdollisuudet ilmaisuvälineenä.
