    Learning objectives
    The student understands the watercourse (brooks, rivers, ponds, lakes) and its catchment as a physic-chemical, hydrological, biological and ecological totality and the student can the basics of the qualitative and quantitative defining, evaluating, estimating and calculating connected to that whole. The student understands the basics of working of chemical analytics in the laboratory and in the field (in situ) working environment and is able to use these physic-chemical analytical equipment under the guidance of the lecturer. The student can elementarily use GIS and land surveying equipment applied especially connected with the water ecosystem management.
    Contents
    The elementary basics of the soil science and geology, the measuring and calculating loads and discharges and physic-chemical processes between the catchment and watercourse. The basics of planning, sampling and measuring technics, the basics of the chemical analytics and the applied use of GIS systems and the elements of surveying.
